PINEAPPLE, BANANA, STRAWBERRY TROPICAAAL

Ingredients for this Tropical Shake:

2 cups pineapple juice
1 banana
5 fresh strawberries (or frozen)
2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
ice cubes

More Details About this Protein Drink:

This will give you a true tropical feeling. It's also a protein drink without milk so if you happen to be lactose intolerant then this is another recipe that you can add to your 'safe list'. Two cups of pineapple juice have been used to replace the skimmed milk. Of course, with no protein coming from any of the ingredients except your whey powder, this recipe uses two scoops of whey to make up for it.

This is a great shake that is packed with energy from the fresh fruit and juice but it isn't too heavy which means you can drink it pre-workout and not worry about seeing it all again towards the end of your workout, if you know what I mean ;-) It's also a good shake to take if it is getting towards bedtime because it goes down easy and shouldn't sit in your stomach all night giving your problems.
