Just Berries (for Lactose Intolerant Bodybuilders)

Shake Ingredients:

1 cup of water
1 cup blueberries (fresh if possible)
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
Honey to taste (optional)
4 to 6 ice cubes

A Little Info About The Recipe

This is an extremely simple shake you can make in one minute flat, perfect when you are in a rush out of the door in the morning. It's also a good shake if you are on a serious 'cutting' or 'sculpting' regime.

Notice there is no milk in this shake so for those of you who are lactose intolerant at some level should try this recipe. You might also consider throwing in an extra scoop of whey supplement powder as the amount of protein is limited to the amount your brand of whey provides (obviously none of the other ingredients contain any protein).

As with all fruit shakes, try to use fresh fruit whenever possible as you get a better taste and more vitamins and nutrients. Frozen or canned blueberries can be used if fresh blueberries are not available, however, you will probably need a little sweetener. In fact, even the fresh blueberries may need some sweetening - try honey.
