CINNAMON BANANA, STRAWBERRY AND NUT

Shake Ingredients

2 cups skimmed milk
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 banana
4 - 6 fresh strawberries (or frozen)
honey to taste
a little cinnamon
2 scoops of chocolate protein powder
few ice cubes

Recipe Info:

This makes a pretty large bodybuilding shake so it's probably not a good idea to drink it all pre-workout. What you might try is drinking half before you go to the gym (give it a little time to settle so it doesn't repeat on you when you are in the middle of a heavy lift - trust me, it isn't pleasant). You can save the other half for after your workout.

The strawberries and the peanut butter make this a good source of energy (especially if the strawberries are fresh). The cinnamon also gives this recipe a little bit of an exotic flavor - it's always worth trying a little flavorings so that you don't get bored with your shakes.
