MINT-CHOC FRUIT COFFEEDrink Recipe:1 cup skimmed milk About the Homemade Shake:As with all the protein drink recipes that use coffee as an ingredient, this protein drink is great for morning consumption. Not only does it have caffeine to wake you up but the fresh fruit will pack the drink with plenty of natural energy to give you the get-up-and-go you need to start your day. You might also consider this as a pre-workout shake as it shouldn't be so sickening (last thing you want is to be doing your last set of decline bench press with your shake 'repeating' on you). You could throw in a banana for some long-lasting energy. If you aren't such a big fan of mint then why not try replacing the peppermint extract with some different flavoring. You could try almond extract, vanilla extract, cinnamon sugar, or any other flavorings for sale in you supermarket's baking section.
