This shake has a huge amount of protein in it coming from the 2 cups of milk, 1 cup of yogurt, 1 egg and 2 scoops of whey powder! A lot of the ingredients are liquid so it's also easy to drink. Many people swear by removing the yolk from the egg when making a protein shake. I'm not quite in agreement because the yolk actually contains a significant percentage of the whole egg's protein content. Sure, if you want to load the shake with raw eggs you might just use one yolk and just the whites from the others. Egg yolks are relatively high in saturated fat and cholesterol but you need a balanced diet at the end of the day so it's up to you.
